(b 1960) Studied at Byam Shaw
School of Painting & Drawing, London and Camberwell Art
College, London (BA Hons Fine Art Painting 1979-82). Her
artistic output is broad, encompassing painting, sculpture
and printmaking. Production is at all scales from works on
paper to large outdoor sculpture. In recent years the work
has moved more towards resonding to the place it is situated.
Her work is above all about the interaction of physical objects
with the realms of thoughts and ideas, and with the emotions:
these are themes which she constantly returns to, and which
she identifies with the clarity of form that is characteristic
of her output. Her most recent works comprise of 3D constructions
using plexiglas and electric light, and digital prints.

works are details of the 3D work recorded using digital photography.
Form and colour are themes for the artist which recur again
here, with the effect of the projected light on surrounding
surfaces being a source of additional delight.
Rosalind runs the gallery Fermynwoods
Contemporary Art,
near Brigstock in Northamptonshire which she founded in 1998.
