at Chelsea School of Art BA and MA Fine Art. Moved
to East Anglia in 1974. Twice awarded grants by Eastern Arts
and exhibited in the capital and regionally across a variety
of venues.

a ruffled formality. Since 2006 picture
plane and boundary

are increasingly probed for resilience. Often
'paths' are driven across the surface; a nod to Barnett Newman's
'zips'
perhaps, but also like other linear devices used in earlier
paintings, a reference and hommage to the spirit of 'Land
Art'.
